Congratulations to our Pirate Spotlight winners this week, Maddie and Adeliz.

Maddie was nominated for the Pirate Spotlight by Mrs. Allen.  Maddie volunteers her time every day after school in Mrs. Guzik's kindergarten classroom.  She also helped the entire season with Middle School Volleyball,  helping with the scoreboard, book, and clearing the court at varsity games.   Maddie is thoughtful and helps where she sees a need without being asked.  Maddie represents the excellence we all strive for as a Perry Pirate!

After high school, Maddie would like to work to become a nurse.  She would also like to help out as a coach in a Volleyball program.  Maddie likes to hang out with her friends and family in her spare time. 

Adeliz was nominated by Mr. Martin.  Adeliz always goes out of her way to help fellow students in her class! She takes extra time in class to help other fellow classmates who may be stuck on a difficult question or need extra help having something explained. She goes above and beyond in everything she does and wants every student in her class to be successful.  Adeliz's compassion and actions make her the perfect person to feature in the Pirate Spotlight!

Adeliz plans to study to become an architect after high school.  She enjoys drawing, playing piano, and spending time with friends and family.
