Ohio Guarantee Admission Program
New Ohio Guaranteed Admission Program for High-Achieving Students
The Ohio Guaranteed Admission (OGA) Program is a new statewide initiative that provides automatic admission to Ohio’s public universities for high school graduates who finish in the top 5% or 10% of their class.
This program was created through recent state legislation to recognize outstanding academic achievement and expand access to higher education opportunities. Eligible students will still need to apply to their college of choice and meet any program-specific requirements, but their admission to the university itself is guaranteed under this program.
Some private colleges and universities in Ohio have also chosen to participate voluntarily. A current list and more details can be found on the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s website: Ohio Guaranteed Admission Program.

Important Information from School Clinic
There have been reported cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) within the district. HFMD symptoms may include fever, sore throat, painful mouth sores that blister and rash commonly found on the hands and feet. HFMD is very contagious and can spread through contact with droplet particles after a person sneezes, coughs, or talks, fluid from blisters, stool, or from objects and surfaces with virus particles. To help prevent catching or spreading HFMD, be sure to frequently wash your hands, avoid touching your face, clean and disinfect often-touched surfaces, and avoid close contact with others infected. Contact your student’s health care provider if you suspect your student has HFMD. Here is more information from the CDC.
