Meet Kate, one of our dedicated interns with LLA Therapy in Mentor! Kate has been immersing herself in the world of pediatric therapy by observing occupational, speech, behavioral, and physical therapy sessions with young children.

Throughout her experience, Kate is gaining valuable insight into the unique distinctions among each type of therapy and how they work together to support children’s growth and development. Every day at LLA brings something new. Kate is learning to adapt and pivot as she works alongside therapists, understanding that no two days (or clients) are ever the same. She’s also becoming familiar with the tools, equipment, and specialized vocabulary that therapists use, and she’s actively assisting with interactive, play-based activities designed to help clients reach their goals.
