Internship Spotlight 5/29/26

Posted Date: 05/29/26 (09:01 AM)

Ava interned with Mrs. Robinson in the Perry preschool and with Dr. Brickman in the Preschool unit for students with special needs.  During her internship, Ava participated in station work and joined students in their PFIT class. She has had the opportunity to observe speech and language pathology therapy sessions and learned firsthand about the importance of play-based learning for our youngest students in Perry. Through these experiences, Ava gained a deeper understanding of how early childhood educators and specialists support both learning and development.

Ava is seriously considering studying early childhood education when she goes to college.
